Verify Your Paypal Account In Any Country

Verify Paypal Account In Any Country

In this post i am going to explain how to verify paypal account in any country. You may be wondering about why you may need to verify paypal account??. Verification means its not an email verification or an mobile verification, it refers to your bank account verification or an credit card verification.

You need to be a verified paypal user to receive or send money via paypal account. In other words sending money even requires you to verify your credit card too along with the bank account or a credit card alone could work. There was some requests from users of this blog to explain on basic paypal account creation, so in this post i will start with the paypal creation process to help basic bloggers and newbies.

Verify Paypal Account in just 2 steps

Creating an Paypal Account

1. Go To Paypal SignUp Form.

2. Choose your country and select a plan.

Personal - You can only buy via your Paypal account and you cannot receive money into your account.
Premier - You can Shop online or Receive money into your Paypal account.
Business - Provides all kinds of transaction facilities.

Choose a plan depending upon your needs and all the plans are free to sign up. i recommend Premier plan for normal users. If you need to use merchant service for selling products on your website, then you must go for a business plan.

 3. A new window opens asking various information's about you. Fill the form with your name, postal address, mobile number, Email, etc. The only tough part you may notice is the PAN(permanent account number) number, am i right?.
PAN card can be obtained by your nearest income tax department if you are an employed person or if you are currently unemployed or still a student, then you may need to fill PAN card number field with some suitable alphanumeric value which is of 10 digits.

4. Choose agree and continue button.

5. Your account is set now. You will notice account type and your status will be unverified. Basically Verify your Email Address(mandatory) and Mobile number(optional). This completes the first step process.

Verify Paypal Account for Doing Online Transactions

6. Once after your account have crossed all the above explained steps, move the cursor to profile option and choose the Add/Edit Bank Account option.

6a. Click on Add button,

Carefully fill this form with your exact name on bank account passbook, bank name, account number and the only part you may get confused is the NEFT IFSC(Indian financial system code) code. IFSC code of your bank can be obtained by directly visiting your bank and asking for IFSC code or searching online at this website.

Note:~
As i am residing in India, IFSC is asked in India during bank account linking with paypal, Circumstances may vary for different countries.

6b. Then click on Continue button. 250INR will be charged from your account if your provided information is inaccurate else it will be refunded back to your account after verification of accurate information. You will not lose any money here.

6c. Paypal will transfer 2 very low amounts to your bank account within a week, exactly note down the 2 deposits by paypal. Login to your paypal account, you will be asking to verify bank account in notifications window, follow it and enter the 2 initial values paypal have deposited to your bank account.

6d. This verifies your bank account and you are now verified to receive money to your paypal account and withdraw your paypal balance to your bank account which takes around 5-6 days to make the withdrawn money to be visible on your bank account balance. This process is free in India where as certain charges are included for other countries and you can get to know about the fees structure they charge in my previous post.

Shopping Online Requires Credit Card Verification

7. Verifying the bank account doesn't allow you to shop online via your paypal account. You even can't add funds to your paypal account from your bank account in India where as adding funds is possible in other countries. All it asks you to do is, verify your credit card.

7a. Verifying credit card is a easy process for countries other than India, but none of the Indian credit cards  are accepted by paypal. The only Indian credit card which can verify your paypal account is the international YUVA card.

7b. You may be not aware of what YUVA card is and where you can get it!!. Yuva card can be obtained only by State Bank Of India. You will need to explain the clear purpose and necessity of Yuva card for doing online transaction and then get it from the State Bank Of India. Then Yuva card can be easily verified with Paypal.

You will not need to verify both bank and credit card. Verify them depending on your requirements. Kindly let me know if you face any obstacles or issues and i would be pleased to guide you on that. Till that take care.

How And Why To Ping Your Blogger Posts

How And Why To Ping Your Blogger Posts

Although search engines will eventually find and crawl your latest blog posts there are some steps you can take to speed up the process.Simply sharing your latest posts on social networks can help as search engines can follow links on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ ect..One of the best ways to let search engines know you have updated is by Pinging them.

What Is Pinging

When you ping your latest blog post you are telling search engines directly that you have new content on your site. Most ping services will update among others Google Blog Search, Weblogs, Feedburner, Blo.gs and Icerocket.

Popular Ping Services

How To Ping

With most ping services you enter the page or post title and URL an ping. Some allow you to submit multiple URL's while some also let you add a description. It is important you only Ping your website or blog when you add new content as pinging when nothing new is there to crawl can be seen as spam.

So while Pinging alone wont necessarily help your sites search engine rank it will help your content get found by Google, Bing and others.

Top Mistakes Beginner Bloggers Make With Social Media

Top 10 Mistakes Beginner Bloggers Make With Social Media

Guest Post - Our host is Amjad Faheem, here Chad takes a fresh look at some of the Social Media Mistakes bloggers make be making.See How To Become a guest author on www.studytofun.com

Today, there are so many social media sites, which all operate completely different from one another. For beginners, choosing the right one for your blog marketing can be very confusing. What’s even more confusing for beginners is figuring out how to use these various social media networks effectively.

Social Media Mistakes for Beginners to Avoid

There are some pretty common mistakes that social media beginners tend to make. Avoiding them from the beginning could help save you time, money and frustration in the long-run. Plus, your networking efforts will start to reap great results right from the start. Here are 10 common mistakes beginners should avoid when using social media as a marketing tool:

1) Using Facebook Only

When people think of social media, the first site that usually comes to mind is Facebook. Yet, this is not the only network that can effectively help market your site or blog. When it comes to business networking, you need to utilize other networks where your target audience can be found. Play around with Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube as well. That’s the best way to determine which platforms are best for your industry and reaching your target market.

2) Trying to Use Too Many Social Networks

Although you should concentrate on more than just Facebook, you don’t want to use too many social media sites at once. Why? Because it’s impossible to be engaging with too many audiences at ones. At some point, some of your networks will begin to suffer, along with the content you share, post and tweet. Determine which 1-2 others to concentrate on. Then, focus on quality, not quantity when posting.

3) Your Website and Blog Have No Social Media Icons

Your audience want a simple, on-click method for joining your social networks, as well as sharing your content. Add social media buttons/icons to give them this in very prominent, easy-to-spot areas on your website and blog.

4) You Only Share Your Own Content

Only savvy, established, famous bloggers can do this without bringing down their popularity. Beginners are in the process of building their online presence, trying to get noticed and increase social media network members. Sharing relevant content from other industry leaders is a very effective way to provide your target audience with even more valuable content and resources they can actually use.

5) You Simply Refuse to #FollowBack

If you never make an effort to follow people who are already following you, many will simply leave your network altogether. Although this is not a social rule set in stone, it is considered to be social media etiquette when trying to build your networks on social media sites.

6) You Confuse a Personal Profile with a Business Profile

Just about all of the most popular social networks have separate versions for business and personal profiles. Facebook and Google+ require you to have personal profiles before setting up your business profiles. Twitter and Pinterest business profiles can be established without personal profiles. No matter which platform you choose to use for social media marketing, make sure that you’re using a business profile, not your personal one.

7) You’re Don’t Engage Your Audience

Social media marketing is all about networking with your target audience, as well as engaging them. One of your goals should be to interact with your audience to create interest in your brand and solutions. This will encourage them to visit your blog for more valuable industry insight, follow it and share your content with their social media networks.

8) You Think All Your Fans and Followers See All Your Posts

Let’s break down how your post views actually work. Say your Facebook business page has 2,000 fans. You publish a new post on your business page. Only about 10%, or 200 of your fans will actually see your post in their individual timelines. All of the other popular social networks have very similar rules. Want to increase your posts’ reach? You’ll need to pay for advertising?

9) Your Posts Don’t Contain Interesting, Relevant Image

Images help to break up text, making your posts more pleasing to the eyes. According to social media marketing studies, these posts get more pins, G+s, likes, tweets and shares than those without images. So, include quality images in your social media posts when possible.Pictures also help get shares on Pinterest.

10) You Don’t Utilize #HashTags

Hashtags make it easier for people to follow social media discussions about particular topics. For example, let’s say you’re posting NBA Finals updates. Using the hashtag #NBAFinals in your posts will ensure that people searching for this info can find it quickly and easily. All they have to do is conduct social media searches using the hashtag, and related posts will automatically appear in results.

Essential Tips For Bloggers To Increase Your Email CTR

Essential Tips For Bloggers To Increase Your Email CTR

Guest Post - Our host is Amjad Faheem, Many bloggers now run Email newsletters connected to their blogs so we thought it was time to give you some tips to make those Emails more effective.See How To Become a guest author on www.Studytofun.com

When it comes to email marketing, there are two crucial numbers to keep track of - your open rate and your CTR or click-through rate. While your first task is to get people to actually open your email, your CTR is what really determines your results. It doesn't help you if people read your email only to delete it. If you want people to take action on your offers, you must find ways to increase your CTR.

Tip 1: Create Urgency or Scarcity

This is a time honored tactic that is still useful in all kinds of marketing. If your reader procrastinates, chances are he or she is going to forget all about your offer. You want people to take action immediately, which is why you have to make it clear to them that this is a limited offer.

You can place a time limit on your offer. This should be within a fairly short period of time, no greater than 48 hours. If you give them the rest of the month to think it over, they will feel comfortable putting your email aside for now.

You can also create scarcity by saying something like, "This offer is only for the first 20 people who sign up." This gives your reader a reason to act now rather than later.

When creating scarcity, it's important to be specific. Saying "limited time offer" isn't enough, as this doesn't give people an actual deadline.

Tip 2: Make Sure the Offer is Relevant

This may seem obvious, but if you want your recipients to click on your offers they must be relevant to their needs and interests. That's why it's so important to have a targeted list. It's better to have several specialized lists than one huge and broad one.

In order to make sure your offers are well targeted, you have to be careful how you build your email list. Are you, for example, appealing to freebie seekers and then trying to sell them high cost products? You want to populate your list with people who are ideal prospects for your offers.

No matter how compelling your offer is, people aren't going to be motivated to click through on it if it doesn't speak to their immediate concerns.

Tip 3: Have a Strong Call to Action

This is crucial to any successful email campaign. If your email is long and meandering, with the call to action buried somewhere in the middle, chances are your “click through rate” will be dismal.

A short email that has a clear call to action is one solution. Another is to have your call to action repeated a couple of times in the message. It should also be bold and large to make sure no one misses it.

Most importantly, the call to action should be compelling. It has to be something that appeals to the reader's interests and needs, not yours. Remember, they aren't interested in buying your products, watching your videos or reading your eBook - unless there's some clear benefit to doing so.

In some cases it works best to make it a teaser and not reveal too much. For example, if it's a marketing product, you could say, "Find out how I made $750 in just 4 hours," rather than revealing exactly what the product or system is!

Tip 4: Make Sure Your Emails are optimized for Mobile Devices

More and more people are accessing their email from smart phones and other mobile devices. If your messages can only be viewed properly on a computer, you will be losing lots of potential customers. Chances are, if a message is too hard to read, the person will either delete it or postpone reading it (which usually means they will never read it).

In the future, mobile devices are only going to get more popular. That's why it's critical that you make sure your emails are mobile optimized.

Tip 5: Always Test and Track

The more testing you do, the more you can find out what does and doesn't work. Test subject lines, email lengths, styles of writing and every factor you can think of. You also must a tool such as Google Analytics so that you can track your results.

The results you get from email marketing can also change quite quickly. Your CTR might be good for a certain message and then suddenly drop off. This could be for a number of reasons. Perhaps a new and better product has been introduced. Or you suddenly have several competitors who are sending similar emails to your subscribers. In such cases, you will have to change your approach.

Sometimes making even small changes can have a big impact on your results. One word in the subject line, for example, may convince the reader that the email is worth reading.

Tip 6: Be Direct and to the Point

If your emails contain long and drawn out explanations of what you're offering, you may be harming your CTR. Most people get tons of promotional emails each day, and don't want to spend a lot of time studying each one. Your email can be more than one or two lines, but keep it as brief as possible.

You can give readers the details once they've shown enough interest to click through to your sales page.

Improving your Email CTR

If you're doing any type of email marketing, nothing is more important than your click through rate. Once someone has made the decision to take a close look at your offer, you are a lot closer to making the sale.

There are many factors that affect your CTR. It takes constant tweaking and experimenting to find out what works best. If your rates are low, try some of the above recommendations. Even when you get them higher, don't stop testing new ideas as there is always room for improvement.

How To Add Mini Social Icons With CSS And Image Sprite Flip Effect In Blogger And Wordpress

Mini Social Icons With CSS And Image Sprite Flip Effect In Blogger And Wordpress

Just last week I published the pop out effect social icons. In a comment on that post Ger asked "Can you write a tutorial for the icons you have in the footer of this page ? The ones that turn color on hover !".The icons he refers to are a neat set of simple icons with a flip color effect and they are a popular option on many of the top websites and blogs.I only added them to the footer in the last site update and had not planned on a tutorial but ask and you shall receive.

So like the pop out icons these use simple CSS to create the effect but this time we also use a sprite instead of individual images. This makes the flip smooth and adds less load time to your blog.I have tutorials for adding them to your sidebar on both Wordpress and Blogger but you could add them to your blog footer or even in a menu.

The icons are for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Rss Feed, Pinterest, Skype, Vimeo, Dribbble, Flickr, LinkedIn and Youtube. But as I did in the footer you can remove the icons you don't want displayed.

Live Demo :

This is a live demo so you can hover to see the effect.
