In Rio de Janeiro, child macaw, Blu, is captured by sellers and smuggled to the USA. Whereas driving by way of Moose Lake, Minnesota, the

truck that’s transporting Blu unintentionally drops Blu’s field on the street. A woman, Linda, finds the chook and raises him with love. Fifteen years later, Blu is a domesticated and clever fowl that doesn’t fly and lives a snug life with bookshop proprietor Linda. Out of the blue, clumsy Brazilian ornithologist, Tulio, visits Linda and explains that Blu is the final male of his species, and he has a feminine referred to as Jewel in Rio de Janeiro. He invitations Linda to deliver Blu to Rio in order that he and Jewel can save their species. Linda travels with Blu and Tulio to Rio de Janeiro and so they depart Blu and Jewel in a big cage within the institute the place Tulio works.
